HashPay is a non-custodial payment facilitator: funds move directly from buyer to your own wallet, and we never take custody. To keep the network safe we require every business that uses HashPay to follow this policy. You are responsible for the goods, services and content sold through your checkout.
Prohibited businesses and activities
You may not use HashPay for, or to facilitate, any of the following:
- Anything illegal under applicable law, or designed to facilitate illegal activity.
- Child sexual abuse material, or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Stolen goods, intellectual-property infringement, counterfeit or unauthorised products.
- Weapons, explosives, and related controlled items where prohibited.
- Controlled substances, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia where prohibited.
- Fraud, scams, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
- Unlicensed financial services, securities, gambling, or Ponzi/pyramid schemes where prohibited.
- Sales to, or on behalf of, sanctioned persons, entities, or jurisdictions (e.g. OFAC).
- Malware, phishing, credential theft, or other activity that harms others or our infrastructure.
How we enforce
Enforcement is reactive: a domain you submit can begin accepting payments immediately while we review it. We may, at any time and at our discretion, reject or suspend a domain, suspend or terminate an account, and refuse to serve checkout for any business we believe violates this policy or applicable law. Because HashPay is non-custodial, suspension stops new checkout but does not let us seize, freeze, or reverse funds — those move directly between buyer and seller.
Your obligations
- Only submit domains you control and operate.
- Provide accurate business information and keep it current.
- Comply with all laws applicable to your business, including tax, consumer-protection, and sanctions laws.
- Handle your own refunds and customer disputes — HashPay does not move funds on your behalf.
